Groups take on abuse

According to a 2004 Equine Survey released by the S.C. Department of Agriculture earlier this year, at least 84,300 residents of the state have hooves. Brown was among 19 students nationwide to receive the Alumni Distinguished Scholarship at Michigan State University for 2006. The scholarship, valued at more than $120,000 for out-of-state students, covers full tuition, room and board, books and other academic expenses for up to eight semesters of study. Recipients were selected from more than 1,110 high school seniors who applied to the university and took an intensive general knowledge examination. Winners were selected by a committee of faculty and administrators based on the results of the scholarship examination, high school program and achievements, other standardized test scores and interviews with the finalists. She plans to major in animal science.

Bow Wow

I think we all remember the young rapper/singler Lil' Bow Wow. Well, he is all grown up now and he simply goes by the name Bow Wow now. I didn't mean to rhyme there. Anyway, he is actually a pretty darn good singer and has an amazing voice. I was just listening to a song he did with T-Pain and it was really pretty good. I am going to have to check out the rest of his album now to see how it is.
